They see our lack of hair knowledge as the perfect opportunity to pawn off "4D hair products" to folks who have been tricked and who believe that 4D hair care is something that needs to be addressed in the natural hair community. They see Black hair curl patterns being discussed among us, they see us confused and wondering "What is my kinky hair type?", and they taste blood in the water. SOME of these natural hair product companies are only trying to create a new problem in order to sell you a new solution. how much to PROPAGATE THAT MESSAGE through biased advertising media messages into your (and ALL American) homes in exchange for your parent's money and even more, in exchange for your very self-esteem, belief system and human dignity!Īnd the pushers of the so-called "4D hair type" are still plotting on your pockets. What in the name of "social programming" is up with that? So why fear being different than the masses? ALL of the greatest people in history WERE DIFFERENT from the norm. While folks sit up worried about being seen as different. We can accept THE FACT that different people have different textures, right?Īnyone who hates (or refuses) to admit that there are different types of hair either has some weird agenda or is probably just ashamed of what God blessed them with and doesn't want it to be identified as different (both Black and White folks). So, when 4C hair was identified on rhis widely-accepted hair texture scale, they took ALL textures into account from limp, loose and lifeless textures all the way to thick, dense cotton texture hair types. Nobody is being born MORE AFRICAN than the generation before them (it's actually the opposite.). There aren't any NEW hair textures coming out since after the hair type chart was created. The widely-accepted natural hair type chart simply identifies your hair texture. DISCLAIMER: Not that I'm saying that everything (or anything) connected to "Okrah" (or Fayle King) is good, I see their agenda for what it is, and I aint with it.
